Mail Should Look Like This

Oh Pink Sparkle Fun. How I've missed you. I've been waiting for inspiration to strike, of just the right sort. Things have been rather lackluster in the Land of Pink. Until now.

I found Ishtar Olivera's FABULOUS site. I just can't rave enough. Look at these parcels! Look at the envelopes! Look at the attention to darling details! You can see more on her Snail Mail Party post.

I will only send letters that look like this now. Can you imagine how receiving a letter so charmingly embellished would brighten someone's day? I want to mail a similar kind of letter to my daughter. She'd be so utterly delighted.

  1. I love it! I took an art class once where our assignment was to create a painted envelope and send it through the mail. We hoped it would brighten some postman's day to see a beautiful envelope among all the dull ones. :)

  2. Oh my goodness. I'm going to get lost in this blog soon, so I'm ducking out quickly to comment here. I love this mail!!! The only mail I ever send (besides bills) are party invitation and thank you cards and Christmas cards. Big Sis likes to mail letters to my grandma, though. (She lives 5 minutes away. It's all about the mail, though.) I will show her this post when she gets home! Maybe I can inspire her to mail letters to my mom and other people, too.

Hey, maybe we can talk Big Sis and Julia into trying out the pen pal thing! Just a thought. :)

    1. Me too! That's why I like blogs so much, I feel like the commenting interaction is like having lots and lots of pen pals...:)

  7. I don't know how I missed this but I finally found my way to your blog today only! Great post! I love this concept very much. I really can't wait for my daughter to be old enough to do this. I used to have pen pals in the old days (before the internet) and it was so much fun.

Be a shiny piece of a rainbow and brighten our day won't you please? But if you say anything that might make us sad, your rainbow will be deleted. So be sweet, kind and remember that Hello Kitty sees all!
