FINGER FUN BITES

Sorry for not posting of late...turns out managing 2 blogs is like, hard. Sigh. What happens when I want to launch my food blog someday? This is a first world problem, isn't it....

Anyway my new thing about Pink Sparkle Fun is that I'm not gonna stress about posting unless something really walks up to me and slaps me upside the head with inspiration.

Well, I found something!

The recipe can be found at Raspberri Cupcakes and just wait till you see! The teeny little buns are made from Japanese sweet dough and are filled with raisins and frosted on top! But I'm thinking of sweetened coconut inside. Can you believe these little guys? I think I would eat about 100 of them because they are so little and cute! And frosted!

This cake would truly be the pinkest, most fantastic, pinkalicious cake in the history of pink cakes. Yes, I have cake on the brain. There are worse things!

Baking With Style

I am a HUGE, mega Lisa Yockelson fan. Her cookbooks are FAB. Her recipes always work out. Her recipes always inspire. I've had this cake cookbook for about 15 years and it's still a big favorite.

So imagine the EXTREME DELIGHT when I discovered that she has come out with 'Baking Style', a brand new book. And it's pink. Some days are just happy days, you know? I cannot, cannot wait to get my hands on this one. And then I'm going to make this.

Lucky Charm Cupcakes

I saw these cupcakes with Lucky Charms in the batter and decorated on top with more Lucky Charms and thought oh YEAH, that looks like something that needs to be on Pink Sparkle Fun! My kiddo saw this photo and asked, "Can that go on my blog please???" and I was like, "That's what I'm doing baby-cakes!"

So here you go. Lucky Charms cupcakes. I saw this recipe from Cupcake Project.com listed as a fun recipe for St. Paddy's Day, but really, don't they look just right for summer? So fun!

Happy Pink Sugar Dusted Cake

I recently came across a charming French blog that someone pinned on Pinterest -- Minireyve. And as I was scrolling and exploring -- 'scrollexplore' -- just made up a new word, I saw this cake o' Pink Sparkle Fun. Love the duck in the middle! LOVE the way just the edges, sides and the very middle has the pink, with other colorful sprinkles added for extra embellishment.

Pink Rainbow Sugar

I think colored sugar like this would elevate....EVERYTHING...into the realm of super special. You know I'm right. I'm gonna do this project with Julia and I don't think it will be a hard sell: "Hey Julia, want to mix some colored sugar together?" Better yet, I could call it "FAIRY SUGAR" and I think she might run me over trying to get to it!
